A.J.'s is located in Lachine, Michigan. Just 15 miles west of Alpena on M-32.  We work hard to provide quality produce in a friendly atmosphere. We strive to be a family friendly destination and because we are a U-Pick farm our customers get a personal taste of a working farm. U-Pick is a
great way to spend time together as a family and it's
fun for kids of all ages!  And nothing tastes as sweet as fruit picked by your own hands.

AJ's has been in operation since 1997 when AJ, at the age of 14, had a passion for farming. He started out with 1/4 acre of strawberries and a lot of faith. Since then, the farm has expanded to include, raspberries, pumpkins, squash, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, an on-farm market, and in 2006, his wife Amy.

In December of 2008 there was a double addition to the family. Twins, Remington Grace and Rebekah Joy, were born on December 13th. We appreciate all the care, concern and generosity of so many of our loyal customers that came along with the birth of our beautiful girls. They are now 8 years old and full of spunk, with big smiles for just about everybody and already a big help on the farm! On October 23rd of 2011, Morgan Holly was born. What a blessing she is and a wonderful addition to the family. She is already helping to pick straberries and loving them!  Teagan Hope joined us on January 9th 2014. At 3 years old, she is full of curiosity and is yet another girl who loves her fresh picked fruit! February 6th, 2017 we were blessed with yet another precious girl. Nora Drew is a happy, easygoing baby that is well loved by all her big sisters!

In the fall, we offer field trips as well as Hay Ride Days. The Hay Ride Days provide a variety of activities for families to enjoy, highlighted with a hayride and a pumpkin launching show.

We are primarily a U-Pick farm, and our customers just can not help sampling in the field. For your health, we use the most environmentally sound practices available. We take pride in using sustainable farming methods to produce the highest quality fruits and vegetables possible.
